A very early start, train leaving Helsinki at 6.24 ! Heading in a north westerly direction up towards the border of Sweden. One change of train and even though we were delayed by a good half hour next train waited for us! On towards Kemi. Here we got off , found bus station for bus to the border of Sweden .Arrived to Haperanda wait for an hour then 3 hour bus to Luleå . Wow what a big day. Arrived 6.30 , pouring with rain. Luleå looked like it could have been a nice town but we never got to see it.
