Furstenberg, Mayos

Our cruise up from Templin to Furstenberg took a couple of days, beautiful stretch of water.

Water levels a tad higher than normal but certainly had not reached flood stage like they were experiencing in southern Germany and France

Streetscape of Furstenberg

Saturday Lyn & David arrived, they are joining us for 5 days on board Linquenda then we head to Italy to cycle. David and Knud head to the alps to meet up with the Castlemaniacs , Lyn & I taking the far more sensible option and joining a cycling tour from Venice to Mantova .

David enjoying his first German beer for the holidays. Note the ridiculous glass, European Football Cup this year and Germany made it to the final 24? nations, so football fever is gripping the nation, again. The glass I might add came with a pack of beer its not something that we actually chose.

Lyn relaxing in the wheelhouse when we were on anchor for a couple of nights

Crossing the Müritz, the largest lake in Germany. Conditions perfect, last year we had rain, wind and wster splashing up onto the windows.

We arrived to Malchow Tuesday, this is where we will leave Linquenda for the 2 weeks we are away in Italy.

Just time to get in one more training ride, a cycle around Plauesee , a lovely 60km cycle, a bit of a technically challenging cycle through the forest in some parts but we made it.
